My Dr visit....

All is well for baby Lo. I had my ultrasound a couple weeks ago, but my dr has to give me the results. Everything looked spectacular and baby Lo is HEALTHY. This makes my heart happy.

I started out pre-pregnancy at 105 lbs, which is pretty hefty than I am normally, but I now total 111. Thus, I have only had a 6 lb weight gain.

My dr is definitely good about keeping up with my lab work and will start having blood drawn at my visits from now on to keep an eye on my Lupus and iron. I had terrible iron issues with Ry and D to the point of bed rest and blod transfusions. Thankfully my doctor is experienced and is good about details.

At my ultrasound, the tech told me he did her sister's c-section and did a wonderful job. I asked him today if he was planning to vacation in May or anything that will hinder him from delivering and he assured me that he would be there and I am grateful.

Ryan's delivery seems like it was a blur. I regret I didn't allow my body the chance to go into natural labor. Dylan's wasn't the worst experience, but I do know it was rough getting her 8lb body out of mine. I am anxious about going through the whole ordeal again and the recovery process. I wish I could deliver normal.

I have been craving lots of fruits. I eat bananas like crazy.

Whoa...we're half-way there!!!

I can't believe in a couple days I will be half-way finished with this pregnancy. Of course, I finally started showing and people are noticing my expending belly. I can't hide my bump anymore. This pregnancy has been a breeze compared to Ry and Baby D and I mainly experience extreme exhaustion. I do work on my feet all day and I am normally running around trying to pick up my area because I sometimes feel like my co-workers do not know how to place items where they belong.

I did finally buy something for Baby Lo at Gymboree. They are having a huge sale and I got two sweater, leggings and a pearl bracelet for $20. I found myself thrown in the newborn section and I was shocked at my feelings being back in the infant section. Ryan is on the verge of being 8 and Dylan is almost 6 so I haven't looked at newborn clothes since half a decade ago.

I actually never thought I would ever have another child after my little Dylan was born. I had a rough pregnancy with Ryan from puking up pizza rolls to blood transfusions. Dylan was easier on me but the weight gain was terrible. But oh my, I have two incredible babies and they are pretty amazing and unique in their own individual ways.

Who knows how baby Lo will turn out but I know she too will be a delights do  only have 20 weeks to meet her.
